Renewable energy
/We are now using green energy!! We have installed solar panels on our dairy roof, so the milking parlour, all our lights and electrics in the yard, our pasteuriser and vending machine are all powered by the sun!
See what's happening on Church Farm!..
We are pleased to announce we have started a bottle exchange initiative with Coffee Angels in Tisbury High street.
Buy our milk in a glass bottle, keep the bottle and bring it back in exchange for a fresh litre! Do your bit to reduce plastic waste and reduce your food miles with local fresh milk!
Coffee Angels are open 8.30am-3pm Mon-Fri and 8.30am-2pm Sat
We want to reassure our customers that we will remain open as long as possible during these challenging times. Milk is available 7.30am to 6.30pm and at Ansty Farm shop 9.30am to 5.30pm.
We have strict hygiene measures in place always when handling our milk and our whole milk room is cleaned every morning and night with Dettol.
We ask of our customers:
Please ensure hands and bottles are CLEAN when visiting the milk machine
We cannot get hold of any hand sanitiser at the moment but have ordered some to come as soon as it is available. Please wash hands after using our machine when you get home.
There is kitchen towel available in the room to wipe any spillages and also to press the 1L button and hold the door handle if you wish. Please only use one sheet each!
Please if you are feeling unwell with signs of a fever or cough, send someone else to get your milk, or contact one of the local neighbourhood care systems that all local villages now have in place.
So wash your hands and continue to drink milk, its good for the immune system!
We have now opened a refill station at Ansty PYO shop selling our milk. Exactly the same concept as our vending machine just a smaller size! Our station will be open the same opening times as the shop. We are excited to work with K and her team more closely, we have supplied milk to the café for the last few years and now can take some home too!
9.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday. Ansty produce homegrown fruit, veg, eggs, amazing breads and cakes and now milk!
It’s our second birthday!! Unbelievable, time really does fly!! Over the last two years we have been amazed by all of your support, so thank you!!
Over the last 2 years:
We have saved thousands of plastic cartons from being bought with our glass bottles and recently we have seen some of the older ones still going (narrower necks), so rewarding to see, truly 0 waste!
We have raised £2315 for charity including Children in Need, Dorothy House Hospice, Air ambulance, Stroke association, Salisbury hospital stars appeal, the Farming community network, Guide dogs for the blind and Seeds for success.
We have hosted 3 Open farm Sundays, always successful days with a brilliant turnout.
We host Semley's defibrillator outside the milk room.
We supply 5 cafes in the local area, Ansty Farm shop, Howards House, Messums art gallery, Genius coffea and Compton McRae!
Finally, we are proud to be able to give local people the opportunity to buy milk from their local area! We wouldn't have been able to do any of it without your support so thank you!
The end of another year and we would like to thank all our customers for your continued support. Here is a round up of 2018:
We hosted 2 events, Open Farm Sunday and our 1st Birthday in August.
We have managed to raise money for Salisbury Hospital Stars appeal, the Farming Community Network, Children in Need and Dorothy House Hospice.
We now host Semley's defibrillator outside the milk room.
AND we have sold 3024 glass bottles! Meaning collectively we are saving a huge amount of plastic milk cartons every day!! A brilliant example of how one small change in your daily routine can contribute on a much bigger scale. Just think how many litres of milk you use a month and how many plastic cartons you have not used!
Happy New Year!
On June 10th 2018 we opened our doors once again for Leaf Open Farm Sunday.
What a brilliant day it was, with £650 raised for the Farming Community Network and Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal!
We had the ever popular tractor rides to go and see our dairy cows, meet the animals, lots of games for children, a sheep shearing demonstration and Neil Darwent from Free Range Dairy came to talk about the Pasture Promise scheme.
Thank you to all that came and for your support

On June 11th we opened our doors for Open Farm Sunday, for the first time. We were amazed at the interest and support from everybody who visited. The tractor rides, farm tours and sheep shearing were a particular success. We had roughly 300 visitors through the day and managed to raise £623 for the Stroke Association! Thank you to everyone who came and made our day a success!
On June 10th we had our debut event at Semley Village fete. Our Stall 'Milk the cow' was very popular especially among the younger crowd. All the money raised went to the church. We are hoping to make this an annual event!
